Wilbur D. Bascomb Jr. is an American bass guitarist. He is the son of jazz trumpeter Wilbur "Dud" Bascomb, who played with Erskine Hawkins and Duke Ellington.[ The Trumpet Kings, Scott Yanow. Backbeat Books, 2001, ]
